Class Descriptions
BootCamp
This class will mix calisthenics and body weight exercises with interval and strength training. Get ready to be pushed to a limit you normally wouldn’t go to on your own!
BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors, and your choice of weight will inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!
Butts ‘n Gutts
Define and shape your abdominals and glute muscles during this intense 45 minute workout designed specifically for those muscle groups. Light weights, resistance bands, etc. will be used throughout.
Cardio Fit
Get Up & Go with an aerobics class for you – safe, heart-healthy and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy-to-follow low-impact movement, and upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle.
Hardcore
Target your abs and back in this gut-busting 30-minute core class. You will strengthen and tone all muscles of your abs, obliques, and low-back with a mix of exercises using a mat, stability ball and other tools.
Hi-Def
A mixture of high and low-Impact on a step with an adjustable platform. With simple choreography routines, you will challenge your cardiovascular system and your legs. It will be teamed with an upper body workout focusing on all muscle groups.
Pilates Plus
A heart pumping, fat burning, high energy class that will include cardio exercise, core training, and an extended stretching period at the end. Various tools will be used such as light dumbbells, exercise balls, resistance bands, etc.
Power Pilates
Power Pilates is a challenging intermediate-level mat and standing class suitable for those proficient with basic Pilates exercises. You will strengthen and tone your entire body while focusing on core abdominal muscles during this no-impact workout.
SilverSneakers® I Muscular Strength & Range of Movement
This class offers something for everyone, regardless of fitness level, and can improve overall strength and flexibility – helping you stay healthy and independent. Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and other fun accessories in non-impact aerobic activity. A chair is available for seated and/or standing support.
SilverSneakers® II Cardio Circuit
Cardio Circuit is a standing circuit workout that combines fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular endurance and muscle strength. The class features upper-body strength workouts using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and other fun accessories in non-impact aerobic activity. A chair is available for support, easy head-to-toe stretching and relaxation exercises.
SilverSneakers® YogaStretch
In YogaStretch you will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses which will teach you gentle, effective stretches that can help maintain joint flexibility and prevent injury. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will also help you relax physically and mentally.
Spinning
The spinning class is a challenging and fun workout designed to give your body a variety of training. You will experience intervals of jumps, hills, climbing, sprints, and downhill races incorporated with some training OFF the bike!
T.N.T.
A dynamic low impact aerobic class focusing on high intensity Training aNd Toning of your body. Will use variety of tools such as bends, bands, balls, etc.
VersaFit/Tone
The first ½ of class is high energy cardio that incorporates plyometrics, kickboxing, and/or bench. Through intervals or maintaining a target heart rate, you will burn tons of calories! The second ½ of class focuses on strength conditioning (while still keeping your heart rate up) in a convenient 30 minute program. It targets all the major muscle groups for a total body workout. Both class segments are adaptable for all fitness levels.
Yoga
Practicing yoga makes the body strong and flexible at the same time it improves the functions of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive and hormonal systems. Yoga brings you emotional stability and clarity of mind.
Yogalates
This upbeat class combines the slow controlled breathing and stretching of yoga with the core tightening and strengthening of Pilates. The combination of disciplines creates a strong, streamlined body and is suitable for both beginners and the more advanced.
The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got a Zumba® class! This class is perfect for beginners and advanced participants alike. A great workout and a fun time are guaranteed.
This course teaches you how to blend body-sculpting techniques and specific Zumba® moves into one calorie-burning, strength-training class. You’ll learn how to use weighted, maraca-like Zumba® Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm, build strength and tone all the target zones.
